Bike tours of Chianti

Recommended Posts

We did a bike tour in Tuscany last summer. I don't think that we were quite in the Chianti region, but it was beautiful and fun, nonetheless. It was a whole day thing, and we rode for 13 miles. We also visited a vinery and had lunch in a little Tuscan village. We are all in good shape, and it was still a moderately challenging ride.

We booked through http://www.bicycletuscany.com. Not sure you would be able to do this on a cruise ship day since the port in Livornio is some distance from there. We also looked at http://www.ibikeitaly.com Not quite sure why we chose one over the other - they both looked good and offered about the same trip. You might want to call them and see if they have any suggestions for cruise ship passengers.

Have fun!
