Can hardly wait a back to back on the PG. Has anyone taken that new excursion Aqua Bike for 2? We've done the underwater helmet dive on Bora Bora & Moorea (preferred Moorea), waverunners on both Bora Bora & Moorea. Has anyone done the Catajets? or do you think the Jet Boat is better? Look forward to hearing from you. Aloha

We are going on the May 10th cruise and then the over water bungalows at the pearl on Bora Bora. The aqua bike looks pretty cool, we've also done the helmet dives and loved them too. We liked the waverunners, but find the am to be smoother water. We've heard if the people on board are alittle older they wont go as fast so maybe the waverunners are more fun in that you can go as fast as you want and you're in control. The catajets dont look as fast, but you get to sit side by side with alittle shade canopy. This is more tamer and alot less fingernails dug in my back or screaming in my ears!!!!!!!!! Ha ha. This will be our fifth cruise on the PG and we just love the people and the places. Does anyone know if Damien the excursion guy is still in business on Bora Bora, havent been able to contact him on his sight, no reply to emails. We hope to see ya and maybe have a cocktail or two. You know what my favorite drink is? The next one!!!!!!!!!!!! 39 days and counting yahoo! ;)

Thanks for replying Aurite. You sound like you enjoy the PG as much as we do. I'm assuming you meant older people aboard the Jet Boat would make them go slower. Bummer!! My husband laughed at your comment about fingernails dug into your back. He can relate. I too have tried to E-Mail Damien and have gotten no reply. We've heard so many great things about his excursions. These posts have really helped us planning our trips. This is also our 5th trip on the PG but our first back to back. We've stayed at the Pearl in an OWB #44 it was simply fantastic but we feel the PG is a better value and is a big OWB. We can meet you guys at the Pool Bar where I hope Teresa is the bartender. She knows us well!!! The PG has a beach party near the Pearl Resort so the 2nd week we're on the PG maybe we can paddle kayaks over and see you for our favorite drinks (the next one or two) ha ha

aloha seafarying Cindy; are you guys from Hawaii? If so what island and why would you leave? Lets try and hook up definately! We know teresa or tessie well too. She was teaching us some local language which was very fun and the crew loved us trying to learn their language. We also like to kayak and we try to go around the ship a few times everyday. It sure beats going to the little gym. What restaurants do you like the best? We love L'ETOILE, Franco always takes good care of us. Michael was the most fun of the waiters. We've never heard Siglo have you supposed to be great! Bruce the piano bar guy was fine, but it will be nice to see another venue. You guys are welcome to paddle over to our owb on Bora Bora if they will let you. They usually dont let you get to far out of their sight. See ya soon

Yes we live in Hawaii on Kauai. We love it here, but it's always nice to vacation somewhere else. We also kayak around the ship & I'm sure we'll see you there. We usually get on the treadmill for 45 min a day. Don't want to put on too many extra pounds. We like L'Etoile the best. We heard Franco got promoted and is on another ship now. Too bad, cuz we really liked him. Haven't heard Siglo yet, but it sounds like we're in for a real treat. We never went to the casino, maybe this time. It's so small and wish they had a craps table. We usually go to Vegas once or twice a year so we get pleny of gambling then. We're in Category C this time had B last time with a butler but this time we didn't feel the need and extra cost. It could be better utilized at the spa or activities. You get everything you want with room service anyway. This way we'll go have cocktails in the lounge instead of waiting in our room for the canapes at 5:30. It sounds like we're the only ones going on this cruise that wants to have fun. Any other fun people going? Will see you soon ALOHA
