I've been hearing reports in other forums that Tripoli has been proving awkward: some ships were simply refused permission to dock because the Libyan authorities weren't happy with a handful of passengers, or something.

Yes Tom, there have been many problems with Libya. The customs regulations can change over night so a wise decision by P&O to remove it.
