FLL Hotels and Cruise port shuttles

Any advice for a reasonable hotel that offers a shuttle to the port for free? Anyone ever rented a car to the port?

You can leave as early as 1200 although some risk it even earlier

Stayed at the Hampton Inn Airport North last Sept. Nice clean hotel, lots of cruisers, free shuttle to/from airport and port. Free breakfast. Good German restaurant a couple blocks away and next to a small shopping plaza.

The LaQuinta Inn & Suites in Hollywood and the Hampton Inn & Suites in Plantation both offer transportation from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the port. Free breakfast as well. Many CruiseCritic readers have stayed there and all have given both properties high marks.
