Thanks Carnival Cruise lines for keeping a ship in Galveston Tx. year round and for being a forward thinking company by offering an eastern caribbean cruise!! I have been an RCI customer for 3 sailings now but now I am looking forward to using you company for my cruising adventures.

Once again THANK YOU for not leaving your customers high and dry during peak vacationing season for most people in the south and midwest (OKIE HERE)

While I thankful that CCL is keeping conquest in Texas year round. The

cruise they are calling Eastern Caribbean.. I really don't think key west

and Nassau is Eastern Caribbean.

I appears that they only doing one Eastern one out of 4 weeks, if I

look at travelocity site correctly.

I agree, to me that does not sound like a exciting Itinerary.

with the OP -- I'm glad Carnival decided to stay in Galveston! I can't imagine that the other markets would be that much better, with ships from Galveston sailing full and very few last minute discounts. When I look at sailing from other ports (think Florida) and see all of the discounts available, it makes me wonder why the lines decide to stay there and discount rather than move on. I know there are many more itineraries available from Florida, but as many have said "Sometimes the ship IS the destination!"

So thanks, Carnival, for sticking around!!

I too am thrilled that Carnival keeps a ship in Galveston but that new eastern caribbean doesnt sound real appealing. Been there done that! Why not go to their private islands rather than Nassau? Princess Cay is only 30 miles from Nassua. Half Moon Cay is 90 miles from Nassua.
