Kayak Adventure Vs Dzib Ruins & Beach Break

Recommended Posts

  • 2 weeks later...

I have not done those specific excursions from Carnival, but I have been in the area.

Here's some things to think about:

1. What is the time of year you are going? During "rainy" season you could get a lot of bugs on the kayak trip. During July/August it is VERY hot at the ruins (beach break with this might be okay)

2. You will experience more if you do the ruins/beach break.

3. Ruins and beach will absorb a larger crowd.

Personally, even though I like to Kayak I would do the ruins/beach break. It splits up my day well from adventure to relaxation and generally the pictures later on are a nice memory.

You may want to consider hiring a taxi van and doing the ruins and beach at your own pace. Save you money, time, and more enjoyable.

Good luck!
