happyinvail Posted May 3, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 3, 2008 We just went with them last week. We booked through shore trips dot com. They were overbooked through shore trips, so you may want to go through Trinity directly to make sure there aren't any problems. It caused a bit of drama in the group that was with my hubby and I. But once we got there, the riding was fine, they ran out of saddles with the horns, so I didn't have anything to hold onto other than the reigns. But the horses rarely galloped, I was fine. We rode up through old sugarcane fields up to a stopping place where we got drinks and they cracked open a fresh coconut for us. The guides were nice and fun, but the transport driver was a bit short. The scenery was OK, but I personally felt kinda ghetto, we rode by a property that was really run down and people were living there. The horses were a little thinner than American horses (probably not fed as well), but in all it was a nice day. It was cloudy and a little rainy, so we were glad it wasn't a planned beach day for us. I haven't ridden on any other islands, so can't really compare the experience.
