Staying at Club Orient?

I'm not sure how you go about renting a lounge and umbrella for the day, but many members here do and I'm sure they'll chime in. (To be honest we like Pedro's or Baywatch better for the simple reason that they have padded loungers and the last time we were at Orient, granted that's 3 years ago now, they didn't have padded ones.)

Yes, there are places to eat. You could either lunch at The Perch (casual) at CO or wander down to any other eatery/bar along the beach. Baywatch and The Pirate are faves and are close to CO. Yes, you should cover your bottoms (not tops) if you stroll the beach, but a nice pareo works well for me, and DH has water shorts he can slip on (or off, as the case may be). If you eat at The Perch (or Papagayo, which is the CO restaurant and which we don't care for), you will need to wear bottoms or sit on a towel.

There's a little shop on the CO grounds and restrooms (but I don't remember exactly where, sorry).

What's the norm for staying at Club Orient for the day? Do you just find chairs and someone will come and collect? What is the normal charge?

Are there places to eat and go to the bathroom?

thanks,

At Club Orient, just find chairs without a tag on them (reserved or already paid for the day) and relax. The guys will be by to collect. Two chairs and an umbrella $18.

At Pedro's (between the restaurant and Club Orient) just find an empty spot and relax. Two chairs and an umbrella $15, with two free drinks included.

Neither have padded chairs, just your typical sling.

Free bathrooms at the Perch, the bar/snackbar at Club O. $.50 to use the bathroom behind Pedro's, but you might ask the chair guy for a coupon.

There are dozens of spots to eat along the beach.
