A couple of questions

I have a couple of questions concerning my cruise on the NOTS.

 

Can you buy alcohol on the ship and pay a surcharge to take back for in room consumption? That would be nice. I like having a drink or two prior to dinner on the balcony and my past experience with using room service for ordering drinks was not that good.

 

Also, can you order from the dining room menu and have delivered to your cabin for breakfast, lunch or dinner?

We just returned from the Rhapsody last Sunday and the very first night there was a $9 surcharge for the entire purchase of alcahol and they allowed you to take it all back to your room. After that first night you could still purchase and return to your room but it was $9 pr bottle.

Thanks. That sounds good to me. Much better than trying to smuggle the stuff on board in your luggage just so you can have a drink in your cabin. For me it is not a money saving thing, it is a convenience thing.

You can order room service 24 hours a day. The menu for room service is limited and mirrors not all items from the dining room menu I think. During dinner time there are some options from the dining room menu for room service available.
