Vancouver Airport - Hotel

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know of a decent hotel (reasonably priced) right near the airport? I will be arriving late on a Friday night after a long flight from Munich. The hotel we are using downtown on Sat and Sun night is sold out, so I need somewhere else for Friday night.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Oh, and I will not have a car.

Thanks!

Delta Vancouver Airport. I've stayed there a lot and it's decent and they have a very efficient shuttle service from the airport.

Afterward, you could get a cab downtown or have them shuttle you back to the airport and take the Airporter for about $15 each.

There are a number of hotels in the Airport & Richmond area. You might want to try the Delta which is quite close by on Cesna St. or the Ramada Inn on Westminster Highway. However there are many others, those two just leap to mind. They will have shuttles from the airport however a cabfare to downtown will run $35 to $40 or you can have the hotel shuttle you back to the airport and you can take the Airporter shttle for $13.50 pp.

I too recommend the Delta having used it several times. It's the closest to the airport (Save the Fairmont which is attached and you buy the airport each night $$$$$) Shuttle runs frequently. A return shuttle to the airport for an "Airporter Bus" to downtown the next would save a bit of money or you could easily just take a cab.

We always use the Holiday Inn Express on Bridgeport right across from the Costco. They offer free drop off and pick up and free parking for a week. Also their free. Cont breakfast isn't bad. Rooms are large and clean.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I ended up booking the Delta hotel. I don't arrive until after 11:00pm - by the time I clear customers and want to go to a hotel it could be midnight and the Delta has a 24 hour shuttle.

Thanks!!!!
