Robe Question

Unfortunatley I can not find the post that I was reading or I would ask them. This post said to ask your room steward for a robe when you arrive on the ship. I was wondering if you had to pay for them or do they let you use them and then you had to leave them? Just curious not an emergency question.:p

Just ask. No charge. Remember to leave it when you leave or you will be charged.

The robe is no longer terry cloth. It is a lighter weight fabric. I therefore did not ask for one. Other family members did and they had no complaints.

 

Oh, simply ask your cabin steward early upon boarding and you will receive one on the same day.

Thanks for the answers. I guess it is the small things that really do matter. I hope I can get a fluffy one. We are going in Jan on the Grand for the first time and also first time for a balcony yipeeeeeeee.:D :D :D

Ours were already hanging in our closet when we got to our room. They were a very light weight fabric, but served their purpose. Have a great time!:D

I believe you can order them in advance on the Princess website. Just back and we used them, not real thick fabric but they worked for us. Saved us from having to pack them.

There are two types of robes. One is the thinner one and the other is the thicker, warmer type which is usually reserved for the suite guests. But, I think if you specifically ask for the thicker one you can get it. We had the thin one in our cabin on last cruise but we asked for the thicker one and when we got back from muster drill, it was exchanged with no problem.
