Vol Fan Mom Posted October 3, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2004  My son is on his way back to TN from Melbourne and he has taken a swing to Port Canaveral to check the damage before our November cruise. He said that the Wonder is in port and they are loading containers onto the decks. We are thinking that they might be taking supplies to Cayman, but don't know how they would off load them. Then we had another thought, they might be taking supplies to Castaway Cay. Does anyone know what is going on?
Host Mick Posted October 4, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 4, 2004 That's very odd. There's no good place to stow them on deck. It seems that it would be easier to ship them to the Bahamas and send them to the island by barge like everything else. I wonder if she's heading for drydock? Ships often have lots of odd things on deck when they go to drydock.
Fallon Posted October 5, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 5, 2004 The Wonder is going up to drydock. That is the reason for the *extra* goods stacked on decks. I think she will be gone for l0 or l4 days.
momofmeg Posted October 5, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 5, 2004 I read at disboards.com that her next scheduled cruise is Oct. 17. Sounds like they are doing a coffee bar on her and redoing the teen club.
