Ms Belvedere Posted February 23, 2005 Author #26 Share Posted February 23, 2005 What room did you stay in? We will be in rooms 6352, 6346, 6348 right in front of the mid-ship elevators portside. I want to know if you knew if there was their a lot of noise and does being over the casino and dance clubs cause problems? I can't remember what room we were in but we never heard any noise. I'll check at home. I do know we were mid ship on the lowest level of balcony cabins.

mnsawyer Posted February 25, 2005 #28 Share Posted February 25, 2005 What time can we expect to be off the Glory? I know it's only a guestimate but we're on upper deck. The original poster mentioned they were off at 10 and they were the last one's off. Just trying to weigh if doing the Hyatt is really going to be worth it. Even a couple of hours to relax would be nice but I don't want to be rushed either. My thought is to pick up a take out lunch at the airport before we check into the Hyatt and then determine if we want to just relax in the room or go to the pool. How long will it take us to get from the Hyatt to our gate? I assume we will have to go back through security?

We had an unusual sailing with the hurricanes, docking at FLL after leaving from Port Canaveral, and then having to be bussed back to Orlando. Being right IN the airport does cut down on the stress of getting to the gate. You'll have to go through security and I think you said your flight was at 5:30. What is the Hyatt cancellation policy? You can wait until the mornng of the cruise, have the hotel phone # ready and if it looks like you won't be getting to the airport before noon, cancel the room if they don't charge. We loved spending the night in the Airport, it is a beautiful hotel and we may try it out again in a March before flying home.
mnsawyer Posted February 25, 2005 #30 Share Posted February 25, 2005 If we cancel, it has to be done by 4:00 p.m. the day prior...it's going to be a toss up...need to decide if we want to self-debark first of all. If that is the case, then we'll go with Art's Shuttle which is $5 more than the Carnival transfer and that will give us more time at the hotel. If we decide not to self-debark, we'll go with the Carnival shuttle and then it could be anywhere between 11-1 before we are checked into the airport. Still, at the latest, that gives us about 4 hours. Yes, our flight is at 5:30.
