Castaway Key beach question

Are any umbrellas/cabanas/shading of any kind provided for at the family beach? I have extremely sun-sensitive skin and I'm wondering what kind of sun-protection is available.

There are lots and lots of beach chairs with umbrellas. ( exit the boat earlier to get a good spot.)

 

there are pavillions for lunch that are completely shaded also.

There are plenty. One piece of advice (that I took from this board), walk all the way toward the end of the family beach. Everyone stops as soon as they see sand. We walked all the way to the end and it never got crowded. Also, there is a restroom there. We were close to the restroom, we had plenty of space and two umbrellas, it was perfect.

And there are trees and hammocks if you are interested!

 

I didn't spend much time on the beach instead the kids and I were in the water most of the time because it was so nice!

 

I agree, go to the end of the beach.
