Hello everyone. Here's a site for the Garden Club of Bermuda. If anyone is interested in garden tours, you may want to check this out. The tours run on Wednesdays in May only. Hope this is helpful to some of you.

I posted this thread on the Bermuda site as well.

Happy Cruising! :)

My family have been to Bermuda a number of times and have done several shore excursions and tours of the whole island. My DH and I went on one of these garden club house tours a few years ago and we believe that this is by far is one of the best times we ever had in Bermuda.

Bermudians open their gardens and homes for the House Tour of the Garden Club. I definitely recommend this tour to all who will be cruising or flying to Bermuda. The volunteers will drive you from one home to the next but please note that there will be some walking involved since you might be dropped off at the street corner due to traffic. So I suggest wearing sensible shoes if you go on this tour. ENJOY!!!:)

Thanks so much for sharing that information. There are so many things to do in Bermuda in just 3 days, it's hard to decide on what to plan on doing. The Garden Club House Tour will certainly be on our list.

It's our first time to Bermuda and we want to make the most of our time there. I'm thinking already that we'll need to plan another cruise back there for next year.

Thanks again for posting.

Thank you so much for posting this! I love gardens. I'm planning on visiting the Japanese garden in Seattle on our upcoming cruise. Bermuda is our next planned cruise I hope. We will definitely put this on our "must do" list!

My wife loves gardens as well and she collects orchids. We plan on visiting the Bermuda Botanical Gardens also. It seems wherever you go you can always find a nice garden to tour. We saw beautiful gardens in Halifax when we did the Canada/NE cruise too.

I attached the link to the Botanical Gardens site below for you. Enjoy your cruise! :)
