Confirming cruise booking???

We are set to sail to Alaska in a few weeks. Is it necessary for me to confirm the room setup in regards to how I'd like the beds to be arranged?

 

I wanted the 2 beds to be put together making a queen size bed. And I'd like a matress topper if they don't have the NEW beds from FREESTYLE 2.0. Will it be possible to get these set up in advance prior to our arrival...or should I just request it when we arrive on the ship???

 

I don't want to feel I'm causing trouble/inconvenience.

Normally if you are going as a couple, The beds will be setup together as a queen bed. Depending on the new mattresses you shouldn't have to ask for anything.:)
