GCT River Ravel September 1, 2008

We are sailing on the River Ravel on the Romance of the Rhine and Mosel. The trip is now sold out so hopefully there are other passengers on this forum who will be on that trip. We would love to hear from you.

You won't see many Grand Circle (or Vantage) travelers on these boards. There are a few but the majority of the posters seem to cruise with Avalon, Amadeus, Viking and Uniworld. I was on the Ravel 3 years ago and loved the ship. I like it better than the larger GCT ships.

That's a nice trip. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Did it 3 years ago. Sorry you can't find anybody on this board that is going with you, but you will meet some very nice people onboard.

We also did the Rhine and Mosel a couple of years ago on GCT. Having been to Bruges for a day when we were on the Jewel TA a few years ago, whetted our appetite for more of that fine city.......and we opted for the 3 day pre cruise in Bruges. It was wonderful!!

We will be going on a Vantage Rhine and Mosel on 9/16/08 and we also haven't been able to find anybody else going via this site. Oh well, we can hardly wait. It will be our 1st trip with Vantage and our 1st riverboat cruise. Won't we all have a wonderful time! Have a great trip!

Hi, I just saw your messages--haven't checked these boards for a long time. We did this cruise last November and loved it. We also sailed on the Ravel on our first riverboat cruise in 2001. The ship was new then, and we sailed on the Rhone River that time. We enjoy that size ship very much. Hope you will enjoy your cruise--beautiful scenery all along the way.
