tracie Posted October 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2004 Hi We leave on Sunday and I am still undecided about what to do in PV. We keep leaning towards Las Caletas, but I am still wondering about other places. Does anyone know if there is any other spots like Las Caletas? This is an excursion that has to be booked through the ship so it is higher than some of the other places I have seen. We are looking for a place that the kids can snorkel right off of the beach. I hear that Las Caletas is the place for that...are there any others? Thanks, Tracie
onboard Posted October 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 5, 2004 We had an absolute blast on the Pirate Ship adventure. I believe it was $65 a person. It included open bar the whole time on board. It was an hour ride to a private beach in which the "pirates" kept us very entertained. They really involve the kids and do a great show! At the beach we went snorkeling, kayaking, banana boating and just floated on boogie boards. There was wine, beer and soda served. All was included. Back on the ride home, the show continued and lunch was served. Truly, it was one of the highlights of the cruise for us. I would highly recommend it. The pirate do-rag we brought back for the kids is their favorite souvenier.
