Hubbard Glacier or Glacier Bay for Alaska - September

We can't decide wheter to do the Hubbard Glacier or Glacier Bay itienrary on HAL.

 

Any input?

We did Hubbard Glacier in September of 2006 and got within one mile of the glacier! It was an awesome experience - something we'll never forget! Spent the entire day out on our balcony watching the glacier calve - clapping and shouting every time, it was THAT exciting!! We leave on May 31st on another Alaskan cruise, again going to Hubbard, but are concerned we might not get close this time. Although earlier this week on one of the posts, someone said a Celebrity (I think?) ship made it to within a mile of the glacier, so we're hopeful! I understand that there is a better chance getting closer to Hubbard later in the season (read: September) than in the Spring, so you should be just fine.

 

Highly recommend Hubbard - its just majestic! Enjoy your trip!
