Cruise out of ny in July

I live about a ten minute walk from the New York Passenger Ship Terminal. The Terminal is on the Hudson River, West side of Manhattan in Hell's Kitchen. There are 3 main ways to get here from JFK...I'll list from least expensive/most difficult, to most expensive/least difficult.

1) take the AirTrain from your arrival terminal. It will connect you directly to Jamaica Station where you catch the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) to Penn Station in midtown Manhattan. From there, it is about a 20 minute walk to the passenger ship terminal. Just head directly West until you hit the river. Then walk North/Up-river to the ship. You would be able to see the red whale tail funnel from where you hit the river to know which way to go. Or you could catch a cab from Penn Station.

2) Catch a taxi at the airport. It should be a $45 flat fee (plus any tolls and tip) to take you to the NY Passenger Ship Terminal.

3) book a car service. They will be waiting for you at the baggage claim at the airport. http://carmelcarservice.com/ or http://www.telavivlimo.com/

Best of luck, and enjoy your cruise.
