great08 Posted May 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2008 My husband and I are looking for a cooking class to do while in Cozumel. I have found two, one through the ship at Playa Mia and the other at Mr. Sanchos through and private company. Has anyone recently done either one? What do you cook? And what did you like or dislike about the excursion? I am not a huge fish fan, and I understand that is what is on the menu at Playa Mia. Are there any other options? Thanks in advance for all the help!:)
psbtrvlr Posted May 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 15, 2008 At Playa Mia you can choose chicken. You also make sopes, stuffed peppers, and a cookie rice pudding tower. This is a really fun excursion!
temple1 Posted May 16, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 16, 2008 We did the Playa Mia cooking workshop and really enjoyed it. The best ship sponsored excursion we've been on. Luis, the chef is great and everyone seemed to enjoy it. Chicken is available instead of fish. There are lots of libations during and after the class. Plus you have use of all the facilities afterwards.
