how near to sailing does the roll call start to get messages, we are on gem august 3rd, and only have us and two other couples so far, and is there a limit to the number of people ncl will hold a meet and greet for (lower and upper)

We just completed a cruise on Carnival and the roll call was active for 5 months. Some are more active then others and many users don't know they exist or just read the threads. You can contact NCL about the "lower/upper" limits but since Carnival does not sponsor them we just set up our own and about 20 couples showed up. It was great and met some great people.:D

 

I've also read several post from other cruises where no one showed up. Hope this helps and enjoy. Back to NCL for my next!
