cruisersnorkler Posted May 21, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2008 Which is better snorkling coral gardens or barrier reef? Last time we snorkled where there was a eel hiden in the coral plus the coral was big and wonderful, I could of snorkled there all day. Then we snorkled where it was just ok. Which was which? 10splyr Posted May 21, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2008 Coral Gardens. I found the reef to be interesting, but not lots of fish or colorful coral, and the current is somewhat stronger at the reef.
cruzorbust Posted June 17, 2008 #3 Share Posted June 17, 2008 Coral Gardens had the eel hiding in the coral. We did that stop a few years ago and it was good. Two weeks ago we did the stop at the reef and didn't see many fish. I was surprised - thought there would be more fish at the reef? I guess you never know where the fishies will be?
