susannemc Posted May 22, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2008 Hi All! My husband and I used to cruise before child... and we want to try again now that our bambino is a little older. we used to love high end ships. but, with our little one, clearly our needs are different. I'd love to hear what you all think are the best ships and sleeping arrangements out there for our family. Grandparents will most likely join us (young and active grandparents, also food snobs! They will get their own room.) Husband and I would love a big room - suite? that would let us put our bunny to bed in a crib, and still enjoy some time to ourselves in for the nights. Do rooms like this exist on ships? What else should we be thinking of? Clearly we want a ship with lots of fun things for our little guy. And, maybe private babysitting? Let me know what you think. And, thanks so much for your advice! -back to sea mama!
AJI2596 Posted May 22, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 22, 2008 We went on the Carnival Miracle with my DH, our almost 2 yr old and my parents. We had a fantastic time. It was a perfect ship too meet all of our needs. And the toddler time in Camp Carnival is great. Just everything was perfect. Only one complaint and that was what happened in San Juan but that had nothing to do with the cruiseline:D
