Land & Sea Tour Recommendations?

Recommended Posts

We are looking for an excursion that includes the stingrays, turtles and a land element; however, when we looked into Native Way Sports (which was highly recommended on different posts), they responded to our reservation request saying that they did not have any availability for our trip.

We are taking the Carnival Valor cruise starting June 8th and were hoping to get something lined up within the week so we're all ready to go. We don't really want to have to resort to taking the ship's pre-arranged excursion, but if that's all we can find - we might have to :(

Does anyone have any suggestions / recommendations from past experience?

Thank you!

Cayman in a nutshell has a similar tour (it is more money but includes lunch). I sent them an email to see what their availability is. I don't know how good they are but you might want to check them out.

Thanks for the info. We had looked into Cayman in a Nutshell, but they haven't responded since we emailed them last week.

People recommended Captain Marvin's - so we're actually going to do that. The customer service rep has responded a few times via email, and they can combine excursions back-to-back so that we're able to do stingray / reef snorkeling in the morning and then go to the turtle farm / hell -- all done at 12:15. This is a great set-up for us, so hopefully their tours are as good as their customer service.

We did that excursion last July and it was great! I would definitely go on that excursion again, just because of the service. We had a small group of people, and they only stayed for the stingray part. We actually went through a company, I did not deal directly with Captain Marvin.
