hey we just got off an amazing week on the Victory in the Western Carib. (REVIEW TO COME SOON) But there was this one song the Calypso band on the lido deck kept playing that went something like this "Sunday, Monday, Tuesday on a Wednesday too, Thursday, Friday, Saturday I love you Baby...every day of the week...." Its been stuck in our heads and we really NEED it on our Ipods haha...so if anyone knows the name of this song any help would be awesome.

HER:

Goodnight Harry dear, and thanks for a wonderful day

Mmm. It was great. Shall I see you again?

HER:

But of course.

HIM:

Tell me when

HER:

Well let me look up my date book

HIM:

OK. What does it say for Monday?

HER:

Monday? No. I’m seeing a film with mother.

HIM:

Tuesday?

HER:

Huh! Baby sitting with my kid brother.

HIM:

Well, how about Wednesday?

HER:

Mm. ‘fraid not.

HIM:

Thursday.

HER:

Nope!

HIM:

Here, throw that date book away.

I’ll get you another that goes

HIM: (sings)

Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, I love you.

January, February, into March and April,

Same way too.

May, June and July, I never let a day go by

Without a kiss for you to remember

Just in case you go away in August or September

HER:

In October and November, Not to mention cold December

I love you.

HIM:

Hmm Hmm.

HER:

Though another year has gone I’m ready for the next one too

HIM: (Spoken)

Why. Till then I’m blue, Honey.

HIM: (Sung)

Every single second, every minute, every hour, all the whole year through,

Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, I love you.

HER:

Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, I love you.

HIM: (Spoken)

I’m listening, Honey

HER: (Sung)

January, February, into March and April,

HIM: (Spoken)

And then?

HER: (SUNG)

Same way too.

May, June and July, I never let a day go by

HIM: (Spoken)

Why, that’s nice

HER: (Sung)

Without a kiss for you to remember

In case you go away in August or September

HIM: (Sung)

In October and November,

HER: (Sung)

Not to mention cold December

BOTH: (Sung)

I love you.

HER: (Sung)

Though another year has gone I’m ready for the next one too

HIM: (Spoken)

Now that really registers, dear.

BOTH: (Sung)

Every single second, every minute, every hour,

HER: (Sung)

All the whole year through,

BOTH: (Sung)

Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, I love you.

LOL, everything the calypso bands do has that sound. LOL they actually take well known songs and play their own music to them and sing them. It ALWAYS sounds good, but it seldom sounds like the original.

I e-mailed Sunny Liston when we returned from his tour in St. Thomas because I wanted to know the name and artist of this song. It was VERY catchy, and I was singing it for days after his tour. Here was his response:

"The name of the song is "Every Day Of The Week" sung by ONYAN from Antigua.

The name of the album is "Back To Burning Flames".

I was not able to find an MP3 of this song, but I would LOVE it if you're able to find it!

We are going on the Victory in March and are looking forward to your review. We are doing the southern Caribbean out of San Juan. We were a little disappointed to read that there is no supper club though. We have dined in the supper club on the Carnival Spirit, Grand Princess, Diamond Princess, Freedom of the Seas and the Mariner of the Seas and found the experience to be wonderful. Looking forward to your review.

Actually, Carnival does have a collection of Carnival Steel Drum Albums that you can purchase.

I did not see the song you are looking for, but there are a lot of cool songs that I really like, you can listen to clips of each song to see if you like it before you purchase.

Maybe you will find something you like.
