Cej06466 Posted May 27, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 27, 2008 hey we just got off an amazing week on the Victory in the Western Carib. (REVIEW TO COME SOON) But there was this one song the Calypso band on the lido deck kept playing that went something like this "Sunday, Monday, Tuesday on a Wednesday too, Thursday, Friday, Saturday I love you Baby...every day of the week...." Its been stuck in our heads and we really NEED it on our Ipods haha...so if anyone knows the name of this song any help would be awesome.

sixgun8 Posted May 27, 2008 #7 Share Posted May 27, 2008 LOL, everything the calypso bands do has that sound. LOL they actually take well known songs and play their own music to them and sing them. It ALWAYS sounds good, but it seldom sounds like the original.

Stevie17 Posted May 27, 2008 #10 Share Posted May 27, 2008 I e-mailed Sunny Liston when we returned from his tour in St. Thomas because I wanted to know the name and artist of this song. It was VERY catchy, and I was singing it for days after his tour. Here was his response: "The name of the song is "Every Day Of The Week" sung by ONYAN from Antigua. The name of the album is "Back To Burning Flames". I was not able to find an MP3 of this song, but I would LOVE it if you're able to find it! cruiselover10 Posted May 28, 2008 #20 Share Posted May 28, 2008 We are going on the Victory in March and are looking forward to your review. We are doing the southern Caribbean out of San Juan. We were a little disappointed to read that there is no supper club though. We have dined in the supper club on the Carnival Spirit, Grand Princess, Diamond Princess, Freedom of the Seas and the Mariner of the Seas and found the experience to be wonderful. Looking forward to your review.
cwr322 Posted May 28, 2008 #21 Share Posted May 28, 2008 Actually, Carnival does have a collection of Carnival Steel Drum Albums that you can purchase. http://www.tropicalmusicinternational.com/products.php?cat=3 I did not see the song you are looking for, but there are a lot of cool songs that I really like, you can listen to clips of each song to see if you like it before you purchase. Maybe you will find something you like. Cathy
