Does anyone know if Fantasy has anything like the Mardi Gras party, or an 80's party? Would like to know whether or not to bring some beads and my MG shirt!

There is one but it's not exactly what you would imagine. The meet-up is in The Cleopatra Lounge where they hand out a couple of 7mm 33" to each person and then everyone wanders to a couple of the other lounges with people handing out beads as you go. The deck party is good though. If you do it, bring some blinking stuff.

We were on board Feb 28 to March 3 -the 4 day cruise. There was a mardi gras party one night. We all met in the piano bar and second lined to several bars singing and dancing and drinking. We all had brought our MG shirts, MG eyeglasses, beads, boas, etc. but they do pass out beads for everybody. A bunch of people decorated umbrellas so they led the "parade" from bar to bar! It was hilarious!!

Thanks guys! Now I just have to choose which of our many shirts to bring...we are only 3 hours from New Orleans, so we know how to "Party Gras" pretty well!

Last trip was Sept 07 on Fantasy, the Mardi Gras Pub Crawl was on Formal Night which on our 4 day cruise it was the 1st sea day....met at the piano bar, Cleopatras & went to other clubs, they stopped where the guy was playing guitar & singing not far outside of the casino & danced in the area there then to the clubs. If there was something on the deck, I missed it....so can someone tell me when/where that was. I have 2 upcomming trips on her again!

We are also on about 3 hours from NO so we have beads already in a bag to bring with us. I never thought about bring our MG shirts. Is the party on formal night or another night on the 5 day cruise??? If on formal night I don't guess i will be wearing MG shirt!!!!!!!!!!!

The Mardi gras pub crawl was at 1000 pm on my Fantasy cruise. My two friends brought masks for the party. I believe the party is on formal night, because after the party, we went to the Grand Midnight Buffet.

Good, we are going into NO a day early so we will go in the quarter and get us some masks. I may not want anyone knowing who I am:eek: . LOL. I am hoping to leave all inhibitions(sp) at home!!!!!!!
