I can only answer about the tour from St. Lucia. It pulled right up to the dock when I saw it there. ;)

PS, They would never make anyone climb a rope ladder to get on a tour.

We did the excursion in Jan this year. Perfect weather. You board the unicorn at a dock near the pier when you get off the ship. When you arrive at the island, you get into a dinghy that holds about 25 people. It takes 3 or 4 trips for them to shuttle everyone onto the island. They actually use Sandal's Resort pier. It is kind of a hokey deal, but the unicorn is kind of interesting, especially if the winds are right, and they get to put all of the sails up, which happened on the way back from the island to the ship. Going to the island it was more of motor power that got us there. We did it once, and would not do it again, not that we didn't like it, but now we can say we did it. There is a treasure hunt on the island when you get there if you want to participate, or you can walk around, or just go to a beach. Lounge chairs are $2 to rent on the beach.

First, thanks for all the information on that tour. ;)

Off topic, but when you have three clocks across the page as you do, your post is soooo wide that it can't be read without going back and forth to try and read every line. :( It does not fit in the screen that way. ;)

Just a point of reference.....getting off the Brig Unicorn onto the smaller boat to go ashore to the island is not the easiest thing to do. it's quite a BIG step down, practically a jump, so anyone who could have any mobility issues would have to stay on the Brig Unicorn. I would probably do it again because Captain Sam let me steer the ship all the way to the island!! We were sailing, not motoring, and it was an experience I will never forget!

You can either put all three clocks under each other down the left of the page, or you can have the two of them as they are now and just put the third one under the first one. ;) Or, you can book a 4th cruise and put them like mine. :) :D

You have no idea how long it took me yesterday to get my 4 clocks lined up right. :o
