Casino ??? On the Infinity

We are cruising on the Infinity out of Seattle in August and was wondering if the casino opens back up after leaving Victoria BC?? Didn't know if they would considering they don't leave Victoria till 11:59 pm and arrives back in Seattle at 6:00am?? Well, I know it will late but I sure hope they do!!

I can't believe that there is NO response to this. I know many of you have sailed this route and would be able to answer my post.

To me, it sounds like the Victoria stop is the "mandatory non-USA port" the ship must visit.

 

Normally, they wait one hour after departing a port to open the "money intake machine" aka casino. Since the cruise ends about six or seven hours after the last port, I don't think they will open the money machine.

 

I know it's not quite the same, but you can get some enjoyment by standing on your balcony and throwing a few dollars overboard. Please don't think poorly of me for this suggestion, but I have been there, done that enough to recognize reality. My suggestion isn't GREEN but it does get rid of excess cash. :eek:

Just got back from the Infinity. The casino closed about 1pm on the final day and did not re-open once we left Victoria.

Just got back from Infinity a few weeks ago and the casino did not reopen after the Victoria stop. Good thing---I had contributed enough in the earlier days :)

I am cruising with Paula Deen and her family and I know they all love to gamble and so do I. So, I know we are not gonna like this being the last night. I know it's gonna be late but a few hours would be good. We can all hope, since she will be sailing with us and the travel agent putting this on know how she likes to gamble and they all play very high limits maybe, just maybe, they will open it for a while??? We all can wish.
