Queen Elizabeth Park

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if the gardens will be in bloom in mid-June? How long should we allow to walk through the Park garden areas?

We will have a car. Should we plan on driving ourselves there, or would public transport be wiser?

Yes there will be flowers in bloom there in mid-June, Vancouver has a very mild climate so things start bloming in March/April. Allow yourself about 45 mins or so. On a clear day there are some great views of the city and the North Shore mountians; here is the parks website.

While up in that area you may also want to take in the VanDusen botanical gardens and is that website as well.
