Hair Dryers On The Dawn

Can anyone tell me if there are hair dryers on the Dawn. Several years ago on another cruise line, they said they had them in each cabin and there wasn't any in ours. Also I have read where the bathrooms are small, is this so? Thanks

Yes, the Dawn had hairdryers. They are in the cabin rather than the bathroom. I'm short and pretty small so the bathroom was no problem for me. However, tall or heavyset people have reported they are small for them.

Next time, ask your steward if there is supposed to be a hairdryer in the cabin and, if so, where is it. (I suppose someone could have 'appropriated' it -- in which case they can probably provide another one.).

 

Many cruiselines now keep them in a desk drawer or some other obscure location. I've heard of other people who never found them...or found them after a few days on board.

I have found the bathrooms on the Dawn to be about the same as all the other cruise lines I've sailed on (RCCL, Princess, and Carnival). The difference is that there's a door that slides open to the toilet in some of the category cabins. That may make it feel smaller. But, everything is laid out really well.
