JML123 Posted June 21, 2008 #52 Share Posted June 21, 2008 Hi all, My wife and are booking the 5-day cruise to Canada for a special occasion this July, and I'm debating what room to get --- reading a lot of positive reviews about the wraparound balcony rooms (7425, 8433, etc.), I am wondering if this is actually a better room than a Cat 11 or Cat 12 suite. Does anyone have any guidance for me on this? Thank you.
Procruizer Posted June 21, 2008 #53 Share Posted June 21, 2008 Was on the Victory a few years ago also. One of my favorite ships also. Back then she did the western caribbean.
habby Posted June 21, 2008 #54 Share Posted June 21, 2008 Hi all, My wife and are booking the 5-day cruise to Canada for a special occasion this July, and I'm debating what room to get --- reading a lot of positive reviews about the wraparound balcony rooms (7425, 8433, etc.), I am wondering if this is actually a better room than a Cat 11 or Cat 12 suite. Does anyone have any guidance for me on this? Thank you. The balconies are definitely bigger on the wraps but the cabins are a really odd shape and seemed to me to be crowded. (We haven't stayed in either, but this last cruise our cabin was right next to a wrap and we got a tour.) The cabins are bigger in the suites. For location, I would choose a suite over a wrap. Guess it depends on what is more important to YOU. Let me check to see if DH took pics of the wrap. I know we have pictures of one of the cat 11 suites. (I'll load them on Webshots in our Victory 2008 cruise)

JML123 Posted June 21, 2008 #56 Share Posted June 21, 2008 These are great shots, thanks. Out of curiosity, what stateroom number was this?
habby Posted June 22, 2008 #57 Share Posted June 22, 2008 These are great shots, thanks. Out of curiosity, what stateroom number was this? No problem. Not sure of the exact cabin number, though. Sorry. Think it was on the Empress Deck, starboard side, probably about mid-ship.
