That is not good news about your wife's foot... what a shame if you cancel. You make a good point about the health insurance and pre-existing conditions. You will have to let us know what you decide...

We are very sorry to say that it is official. We cancelled the trip yesterday after some long thought. We feel a little depressed after planning for so long, but, we're still alive and feeling well which we can't complain about. We hope you have a great time and please, remember to come back to these boards and let us know what you thought. We plan on booking for next year, again. ENJOY VENICE!

Sorry to hear that you have to delay your trip, but we think a wise decision. It would have been nice being able to mingle with some fellow Canucks. Hope the rest of the healing process works out for your wife. We will keep you informed of how it goes.

JT - Sorry you had to cancel. This is a wonderful trip, but every stop required a lot of walking over uneven ground, so it was probably the best decision, if you really wanted to enjoy. Hope you're doing something else fun in Sept. to make up for it. And there's next year... - plus, don't know if you've noticed but HAL and some of the other cruiselines have some great - but similar - itineraries for '09 that you could combine with the SkS flight. Lots of options!
