mec524 Posted June 12, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2008 Does anyone know of hotels in Aruba that will let you purchase a Day Pass for the use of their facilities. Appreciate any help!
SanNic44 Posted June 13, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2008 You could go to de Palm island for the day. Also, check with Divi Resorts for their fees. Enjoy!
serene56 Posted June 16, 2008 #3 Share Posted June 16, 2008 Renassaince Island is $75.00pp for a day pass. you can get a taxi to the beach and do it yourself for a lot cheaper. Wait a few days and Aruba Lisa will get you a break down of what it will cost.
Arubalisa Posted June 25, 2008 #4 Share Posted June 25, 2008 Wait a few days and Aruba Lisa will get you a break down of what it will cost. :) At this time, a trip to the Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort on Eagle Beach seems to be about the best deal. For $5 pp you can rent chaise lounges with shade palapas (when available). Bus in $1.30 pp/each way or taxi $9 each way for a maximum of 5 people/vehicle. The resort offers a bar/restaurant on the beach and restroom facilities across the street, but does not include use of the swimming pool. For families looking for activities you are better off heading to Palm Beach where there are a wide variety of watersports offered for a fee. Again, bus fare is $1.30 pp/each way or taxi $10 each way for a maximum of 5 people/vehicle. There are vendors along Palm Beach who rent chaise lounges as well as umbrellas for shade. In addition there are numerous restaurants at the various hotels along Palm Beach. The Riu Palace Resort on Palm Beach offers a day pass for $100 per person, this is all inclusive and includes alcohol, food and use of the beach and pool facilities. For taxi fares, add an additional $3 each way for fares on Sundays.
