Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon or Sofitel?

The Sofital is more expensive (about $60) is it worth it? Just want something clean, in a good neighborhood, and a restaurant within walking distance.

Sofitel is a better hotel. There is a restaurant inside the hotel.

Hampton Inn, you would have to walk a couple of blocks to get to a Burger King, I believe there is also a Mc. Donalds right on 7th. Street, close to 57th. Avenue, (about 1 block away from the hotel).

There is a good restaurant called "the 94th. Aero Squadron" which faces the Airport runway, where you sit at your table and watch the planes landing, as well as taking off, but is several blocks away from either hotel.

Just stayed at the Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon 2 weeks ago and it was great! The most comfortable beds ever and decent free breakfast. Check out the reviews on http://www.tripadvisor.com. The staff there is wonderful!

yes we also stayed there and you will find my review on tripadvisor as well. I would recommended it. . lots of places to eat right across the street, very comfortable hotel. Nice hot free breakfast in the morning.

Are there crosswalks/sidewalks to get around? We stayed in Ft. Lauderdale last year and it was scary trying to cross the street without crosswalks.
