emeraldcity Posted April 7, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2004 Are lockers and change rooms available at Chankanaab? We're doing the Royal Swim next week and my preference is to bring dry clothes to change into before returning to the ship. roboref Posted April 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2004 Yes, they have lockers. I am not sure about changing rooms, but they obviously have restrooms which could be used to changed. SueO Posted April 7, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2004 Hi - yes they do have lockers and changing rooms and even a shower set up, which was very nice for rinsing off after being in the salt water. Great place!
cbcloud Posted April 7, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 7, 2004 Yes, they have lockers and they are FREE..! Supposedly they are for use by those on the Dolphin Encounter program, but anyone can use them. The Chankanaab National Marine Park is a SUPER excursion, especially for children..! The ship excursions (Voyager of the Seas...sailed 28 Mar) sold out very early, but we took taxi from dock ($10.00 per taxi...about 10 minutes to park) and was able to get the Swimming with the Sea Lions and Dolphin Encounter events at the park. mnsawyer Posted April 7, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 7, 2004 The lockers, I believe were $3 with lots of room to store your things. It's right in the same place as the mini-store and restrooms. Chankaab is a great place...we loved it there! There is drink service as well. We planted ourselves under a great paplaya (spelling). It was the highlight of our cruise!
