dbhome Posted June 21, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2008 Has anyone stayed at the Between the Arms Bed and Breakfast in Anchorage? We are considering booking it. Looks good online, but I'd like to get some feedback on what you liked or didn't like about it.
stonebolt Posted June 22, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2008 We were there last week...we actually stayed before and after our cruise as we liked it so much. Jon and Chris are great hosts and felt like friends before we left. The junior suite is changed since web photo...chris has updated ..it is sleek, modern and very comfortable. The house is spotless which worked for the clean freak in me. Breakfast is big and Jon will cater to your tastes. We have nothing but good things to say and I posted about them under Anchorage hotel and b and b a couple of pages into the board. If we go back to Alaska we will stay there again. Great hosts, home, food and right next to the TK trail. You will enjoy.

loves2cruz Posted June 26, 2008 #4 Share Posted June 26, 2008 We stayed here a couple of weeks ago and would highly recommend. It is where we will be staying when we return to Anchorage. The location is convenient and in a quiet neighborhood. We slept very well. Jon and Chris are warm and hospitable hosts that make you feel welcome. Although we arrived rather late, Jon was most gracious in waiting up for us. We feel like we have friends in Anchorage. Jon greatly enjoys cooking and provides a fabulous breakfast on a beautifully set table. There is more food than can be eaten. He baked some very yummy bread. It was very nice to have Jon and Chris to chat with during breakfast along with another couple that had been staying there for several days. We stayed in the Master Suite and this was the most comfortable room we stayed in during our independent pre-cruise tour before getting on the Coral Princess. The bed was very comfy and the large room was tastefully decorated. A nice, thoughtful touch was the bottle of water on each night table. The rest of the home is just lovely and you can see that a lot of pains were taken. The house is absolutely immaculate. You will enjoy your stay here if you're lucky enough to get a room!!!!
