Renting a Car for the day?

I'm looking into this as an option for us as it may be a great way of seeing almost everything!

As there are 6 of us, has anyone ever rented a car big enough for 6 persons on GC?

Whats the best way of renting? Been quoted $165 for a full size SUV from Avis...Is this a bit expensive?DH won't drive a van so I'm guessing it must be a SUV to fit us all in?

As we're British, driving on left will be cool!!;)

Haven't rented a vehicle on GC but search and use the AVIS discount codes you can save some $$$$

Try Grand Cayman Car Rentals online. You can rent a five or six passenger mini SUV for Aprox 90 US dollars a day. A bargain for y'all at half cost sterling!

 

You can find them online to book ahead. If you wish you can just turn left after you tender into port and walk 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile to the bright blue building. They are the only car rental agency near the port.

 

They are very reputable, we've used them 3 different visits. The rate also includes a one day driving permit if you don't have an international drivers license.

Searched Grand Cayman Car Rentals but loads of different ones come up so I'm not sure which you're meaning??
