snorkeling or kayaking on our own on 7MB

We are considering forgoing any excursion with Carnival next month (our first cruise ever!!) and just hang out on 7MB, most likely Sea Grapes Beach for the day. Can anyone give recommendations on where to go and/or rent for snorkeling? Are any sea kayaks or clear kayaks available on 7MB? Are any Hobie Cats available to rent? Where is the best beach just for lounging and are there any facilities at that beach?

we were at sea grape in may, the water was not good for snorkeling on our visit. i dont think there is any coral at all. it was pretty but not for that. take the bus to cemetry beach, it is b4 sea grape..nothing here, take your own drinks. but i understand snorkeling is great. we will be going here next trip. sae grape is good for relaxing, gets deep pretty quick, calico jacks rest is right there, $8 for a burger. red sail sports has rentals for water activites like catamarans. and hobie cats. they have showersa nd changing rooms too. nothing fancy but fine. bus stop across street for ride back.
