Group Discount - How many rooms?

Recommended Posts

8 cabins, and then the free berth (cruise fare only) will be for the greatest number of a category, so if you had 2 insides (cat L) , 2 OV and 4 D1's then the free fare would be a D1 but they would still pay taxes/fees and surcharges.

Does anyone know how many cabins you need to book to start to get a discount? We have about 6 or 7 rooms worth of people interested in a March 2009 Cruise.

Thanks,

If you pick a cruise which has designated group space (GAP Program) you can have a free berth through the travel partner benefits (TA) by trading points in, so you actually may get lucky and 7 or 6 cabins are enough. But you would forgo other benefits such as OBC etc for the point value.

But the basic rule is: 8 cabins (as Sue L said).
