Booking a Cruise Last Minute At the Pier The day of Sailing

You can actually call the morning of sailing to the terminal and they will tell you if there is any availability.

 

So, would I have to call the cruiseline's reservationss department OR the terminal? If it's the terminal, where do I get the phone# for Carnival & RCI at the pier at Los Angeles?

If you call their reservations department they should be able to give it to you. RCCL does not allow reservations less than 24 hours.

There is always the possibility of a no show at the pier, but you would probably have to wait until sail time to be sure, then you wouldn't have the 60 minute window.

but even if someone misses the ship at the terminal I have read several posts that says how people have flew to the first port of call and then jumped on the ship at that port so how would that work room wise if they let someone else jump on a ship at last minute???? WOuld they still have the extra room to accomdate these folks?:confused:

That's true and of course they have already sold the cabin, so it would have to be an empty one.:cool:
