Maiden voyage of Nordic Empress ?

I would like to know where the Nordic Empress sailed on its maiden voyage on June 25, 1990. Was this ship a member of the RCCL fleet at that time?

I can't answer the maiden voyage part, but the ship has always belonged to RCCL. I seem to remember reading that it was being built for someone else, but RCCL bought it and finished it. ??

I did find where I read what line the Empress was originally being built for, but that is all it says.

Admiral Cruise Lines was owned by Royal Caribbean. I believe that RCCL bought them in the late 80's.

The Nordic Empress was originally buit for short 3/4 day cruises from Miami to the Bahamas.

My husband and I were on the Nordic Empress in December of 1990 for a 3 night Bahamas cruise. She was beautiful! I don't know where her maiden voyage was though, sorry.
