bailey450 Posted June 30, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2008 My husband has a medical problem which makes sleeping in a queen bed difficult. Has anyone ever requested that the queen be replaced with twins and did they accomodate you?
Rapture24 Posted June 30, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 30, 2008 I didn't request one, but when I booked my AE on the Dawn- they asked me if I wanted it to be a Queen, or two twins...that being said, requesting it shouldn't be a problem
llynn1013 Posted July 1, 2008 #3 Share Posted July 1, 2008 The queen bed is two twins pushed together. So if you request they will separate them and make two twins.
rich40245 Posted July 1, 2008 #4 Share Posted July 1, 2008 I booked, directly with NCL, an AF because NCL told me the AE was a true queen bed, not two twins that could be separated. Not sure now if they were right. This is on the Gem. Now wondering. Rich

We grew up sharing beds..not a problem for us..we learned to sleep in our own spot without moving:) HD did visit us on embarkation day....since the RS were concerned about the situation. Haven't seen an AF but they are. most likely. correct accommodations as stated by NCL. If you wish to cruise NCL, they can always push the beds apart/together in an AF. Good Luck!
