Casino question

I usually keep cash for gambling in my safe.

I take it out as I need it. That way I can keep control. When I am out of money I stop.

Using your sail and sign card which is more than likely on your person at all times around the ship is just to easy. Every time you walk past the casino the urge may come over you to stick that card into a machine. Of course you have to sign up for that I think.

So to answer your question you may use both.

How well do you trust yourself?

Just a quick question. Do you use cash or ss card for the casino on board?

Thanks!

There is a slot in the door to the casino. You can just put your cash through that slot and get the same result if you had gone into the casino and played the slots and or the tables:D

Have a great cruise.

We always bring a set amount of cash for gambling, and that's it.

We just got off of the Glory, and for some reason, I used my s/s card in the machine to get $25 put on the machine. When I got my bill, there was no extra charge. In fact, when I was putting in my pin on the machine to add to or take from player bank, the machine said "use s/s card with no added fees." So I don't know if Carnival has taken away the fees on all cruise ships or not, but they are not on the Glory.

Btw, if you like slots and can find a Denver Duck machine, it's a great machine. It's hard to get into the bonus, but when you do, you WILL win money.

Had to mention some important uses for your SS card. #1 you can take your cash, put it into the bill acceptor for the machine then you can put the cash on your SS card for future use in the casino. You can also put your winnings (Yeah Right) on your card. Think of it as a cruise debit card. #2 when you insert the card to play the slots, you earn points, earn 1000 pionts and you get $10.00 free. Now it takes a lot of winning/spending (There we go again) to rack up the points but it can be done. #3 to cash out the card at anytime before the end of the cruise, just bring it up to the cage cashier, tell them you want to cash out, enter your pin and there you go Cash in Hand. #4 you can get a cash advance on the credit card you used for your ship board account onto the card, all through the machine, but that is a little too easy to get out of control for me. So I just take the $$$ I plan to use for the casino, put it on the card the first night, and when its gone I'm DONE. Hopefully near the end of the cruise not the first night...LOL

Yes, I really like the feature to put winnings on your s/s card. It's easy, and it means you don't have to touch coins or wait for hopper fills. Plus, the smaller denomination machines pay in quarters, so if you have less than .25 left on a machine, it cannot cash it out. You either play it or lose it or put it on your s/s card.

We actually did win at times. It's so easy to put it on your card, and take it off to play another machine or go to the cage and cash it in. DH had two hits on our last night, and we put it on the cards and then cashed it in when we left the casino to go ...aack aack hhmckkk ...pack.
