tahoe782 Posted July 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 2, 2008 Hello We have been given a dinner in the Sterling Steakhouse on the Grand in the Med. We are doing anytime dining since the cruise is so port intensive. Therefore we are not bringing any formal clothes. Would a sundress and nice slacks and shirt be acceptable at the resturant. We would not be doing it on any Formal nite Thank you Tahoe782
YellowDog Posted July 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 2, 2008 absolutely...unless the rules of dress are much different in Europe. I was on the grand and ate at sterling in Nov. and that dress was more than acceptable. Enjoy it...we loved it.
Northender Posted July 2, 2008 #3 Share Posted July 2, 2008 You can wear whatever you would wear to dinner at any of dining rooms. The same rules apply, no shorts, jeans, etc. Enjoy Sterling, we love it, especially the chocolate molten cake for dessert:D

Treven Posted July 2, 2008 #5 Share Posted July 2, 2008 Think I'll order the shrimp cocktail for the appetizer, the shrimp cocktail for my entree, and a shrimp cocktail for dessert.

Griff4AU Posted July 2, 2008 #7 Share Posted July 2, 2008 While I have not dined at Sterlings, my wife and I did have the Ultimate Balcony Dining on the CB this past week and the Lobster and Filet were from Sterlings. Much to my surprise, the filet was huge (possibly the biggest ever) and very well prepared. Enjoy
gertz Posted July 2, 2008 #8 Share Posted July 2, 2008 Think I'll order the shrimp cocktail for the appetizer, the shrimp cocktail for my entree, and a shrimp cocktail for dessert. In February on the Golden we along with youngest son and his wife eating at Sterlings. Had the usual with shrimp cocktail, I think 4 shrimp. Only ate two of them to start. Had the other two for my first desert. GERTZ Princess Elite Next Tahitian 9/18 Vancouver to Honolulu Coral 4/12 FLL to LA
