Has anyone done the Misty Fjord Boat Tour from Ketchikan? Is it too cold to spend time out on deck? Are the views from inside the boat worthwhile?

Has anyone done the Misty Fjord Boat Tour from Ketchikan? Is it too cold to spend time out on deck? Are the views from inside the boat worthwhile?

 

I took this boat tour just this last may and the views from inside the boat are great. if you want to go upstairs and out on the top deck you can but it can get windy and cool out there. Do a search; in the last week or so someone did a thread on this and there were mixed views. I enjoyed the tour but my DH was so-so on the subject. When you did get to the misty Fjords area it was spectacular but to get there is a very long boat ride; approx. 1 hour.
