Charging Aboard Ship

:confused: Do I have to charge everything I buy to my shipboard account, or can I charge some items to a different credit or a debit card, or even use cash for some things? For instance, if I went to the spa or bought something in a shop, could I use another form of payment?

You have to give the ship one card (credit or debit) or cash for your on-board account. You can check it periodically by going to to purser's desk. Don't know if you can switch on board credit during the cruise....

You have to charge everything on your onboard account. You can however pay down your account anytime with cash so you don't end up with a large balance on your primary card.

The exception to the rule is gambling in the casino. They will accept cold cash there. However, if you need to, you are allowed to charge chips to your shipboard account.
