Driving/Mileage to NJ

Hi I am from Michigan. We are looking at doing a 5 day cruise from NJ and would like to know if anyone has any idea how for this drive would be or where the port is located so I can do some searches for mileage. Just wondering if we could drive there instead of fly.

i have driven from cleveland to NJ and it will be about 8 hours from there.

I an going to assume you are are talking about the Bayonne, NJ port. Bayonne is just off of exit 14 on the NJ Turnpike. Keep in mind this is in North Jersey (very close to NY) and traffic is usually bad. Very congested area of NJ. However, Bayonne is pretty easy to navigate so you should have no problem getting there minus the traffic of course. Hope this helps.

I am not sure where Linwood is, but when we lived in Detroit, the drive to NYC took about 10 hours depending on traffic. The port is on the Hudson, across from NYC so the drive should be about the same.
