pedirn Posted July 10, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 10, 2008 We are trying to make a decision on which cruise to book next summer. We are taking our GDS to Alaska. He has requested a 10 day cruise and the only one available is the Sea Princess. We had pretty much decided to look at RCCL and Princess. All his previous cruises have been on RCCL. I am concerned about the Sea Princess as it is smaller than what he is used to and older. Does anyone have any information regarding children's program on the Sea Princess? Any advice or suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks Chris
sunandseagirl617 Posted July 11, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 11, 2008 We have not been on the Sea Princess since 2002, however, our DD was 2 at the time and my DS was 9. DD could not participate in the kids program because she was too young. My son did and loved it! We have sailed on both RCCL and Princess, both are just as good! On the Sea Princess it was a smaller program but it was a lot of personal attention. Our cruise left from Puerto Rico back then and we did the southern caribbean route, so I'm not sure how it would compare to an Alaskan cruise (how exciting!)...... I think you should feel confident on either Princess or RCCL...as far as kids programs go!:)
